Rajib Nag, an accomplished officer with over 21 years of distinguished service, is currently serving as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Police Housing & Construction), Tripura. A postgraduate in Agriculture, he began his career as a Tea Planter before joining the Tripura Police Service as a Dy. SP in 2004. He has held numerous key positions including SDPO, Assistant Commandant and Commandant across various battalions of TSR and has served in challenging, insurgency-affected areas with dedication and success. His leadership in maintaining law and order, especially in interior and operational zones, has been exemplary. Notably, as Commandant of the 9th Bn TSR, he played a pivotal role in Chhattisgarh, curbing coal mafia operations and ensuring record coal production, earning praise from the Ministry of Coal. Decorated with several honours including the Antarik Suraksha Seva Padak, Police Special Duty Medals and commendations from the Government of Tripura, he is recognized for his tactical leadership, sincerity and unwavering commitment to duty.
